Non-compliant sections, contents and functions
The deviations detected within the site are:

  1. Hierarchical structure of heading elements not respected (e.g. homepage, search, cookie policy)
  2. Low contrast on:
    a. Accept All link on the cookie banner
    b. Links on the Cookies page
    c. Search filters on the homepage
    d. Starting from label
    e. Required fields
  3. Lack of title in:
    a. Social media and email links
  4. Lack of readable text for some links (e.g. <a href="mailto:daviscup@bolognawelcome.it">, <a href="mailto:agenzia@bolognawelcome.it">) and social icons
  5. Lack of labels for Special Requests during the booking process
  6. Lack of indication that links open in a new window to be included in the ‘title’ or ‘aria-labelledby’ (e.g. social media icon links, email links)
  7. Lack of submit or role for:
    a. Consent Selection on the cookie banner
    b. Date fields in the homepage search
    c. Elements that visually appear to be titles but are not contained in a heading tag (e.g. the items Need help, Groups and additional services)
  8. Keyboard navigation:
    a. Non-clickable date elements
    b. Lack of hidden link to go directly to the content
  9. Duplication of id attribute:
    a. Dropdown
    b. Modal title New user registration (exampleModalLabel)
  10. Invalid role for drop-down menu Choose event
  11. Elements with secondary roles not contained in main elements:
    a. Hotels / Trains / Experiences / Packages on the homepage (tab not contained in tablist)
    b. Private individuals / Companies on the registration page
  12. Invalid air elements:
    a. Telephone and mobile phone drop-down menu on the registration page
  13. Missing or non-unique landma
